Miss Predicto lives a few blocks away from a movie theater, where there is already a line of people stretched around the block. There’s no doubt a similar phenomenon occurring in your neighborhood. What it’s all about? One word: Twilight.

If you don’t know what Twilight is, here’s the skinny: Girl meets boy vampire. Girl loves boy vampire. Boy vampire loves girl, but he’s battling a deep desire to bite the girl. Because he’s a vampire, duh. There’s also a werewolf who digs the girl, and a bad vampire who wants to bite the girl too.
Are he and co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays heroine Bella Swan, ready for the superstardom that await them? Maybe they should ask the guy who plays Harry Potter how he deals with it.
In any case, people are amped for this movie: 70% of the PredictoMobile community voted that Twilight would make more than $70 million at the box office this weekend.

Attention all celebrities: if you don’t want the tabloids to speculate that you’re pregnant, don’t place your hand on your stomach. Just don’t.
Because Mariah Carey didn’t heed this advice, she’s the latest star afflicted with “baby bump” rumors. Mimi and hubby Nick Cannon are on vacation in Mexico, and the diva was spotted wearing a long, flowing dress.
So that’s it: she put her hand on her tummy and she wore a beach dress. OMG, she’s pregs!
Well, to be fair, when’s the last time Mariah wore something that wasn’t supershort or skintight? The girl loves to wear as little clothes as possible. Plus, Mariah recently said:
“People are constantly asking me if I’m pregnant, but I don’t like to talk about it too much.”
There you have it: Mariah just admitted that she doesn’t want to admit whether she’s pregnant.

Can you believe there have been eleven “cycles” of America’s Next Top Model? Well, at least we know that former contestants have gone on to actual modeling careers. (Even the first winner has reached D-list reality show infamy.) So winning the ANTM crown could actually mean something for the three finalists “still in the running to be America’s Next Top Model.”
Miss Predicto favors McKey, despite the dumb name she picked for herself. She’s gorgeous and takes great photos, and has come a long way since her photo shoot, when she only knew how to pose as a boxer.
But Sam really shouldn’t win. The girl just doesn’t look, act or dress like a model. In fact. at a recent judges’ panel, Miss J. Alexander took off his pants to give her because her outfit was so awful. The girl has no sense, fashion or otherwise.
The Predicto community sorta agrees with me: 35% believe that Analeigh will be the winner of America’s Next Top Model. McKey gets 33% of the vote, while Sam trails at 31%.

Miss Predicto loves–actually, lives for–celeb gossip. But even she’s reached her saturation point for the never-ending saga of Jennifer Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie. Because as a nation, we moved on from the shock of Jen’s breakup with Brad Pitt eons ago. So why hasn’t Jen?
Sure she deserves some sympathy for constantly being inundated with tabloid coverage of her ex-husband’s idyllic, globe-trotting lifestyle with the gorgeous Angelina and their many, many kids. But that’s why intense therapy and rebound relationships exist–to help you get over it.
Yes, it was “very uncool” of Angelina mentioned that she couldn’t wait to get to work every day on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which suggests that Brad and Angie had an immediate connection even though he was still married to Jen. But hey, tell that to your best pal Courtney Cox or your dog Norman, NOT the general public via a high-profile story in Vogue magazine.
Cindy McCain might be secretly glad that the presidential campaign is over. Sure, she’s probably upset that she won’t be First Lady. But now she can return home to continue her secret affair!
Miss Predicto can’t imagine that Cindy would really cheat on her better half, and neither can the Predicto Mobile community: 61% say that Cindy McCain will not confirm the allegations that she cheated on her husband by 12/5.
Then again, the National Enquirer was right about John Edwards cheating on his wife. So Cindy, if you are stepping out on your man, at least stop canoodling in public where people can see you, okay?

Now that the election is over, America is gripped by an arguably bigger rivalry: David Cook vs. David Archuleta.
Rocker David might have been crowned the American Idol this year, beating out Lil’ David by more than 12 million votes, but does that also mean he’ll have a bigger career too?
Let’s compare them, shall we?
In this corner, David Archuleta. Self-titled album. Release date: Nov. 11.
Pros:
-He’s the kind of pop star–sweet, boyish and non-threatening–who elicits a devoted following made up of both tweens and grannies alike. In fact his fans have dubbed themselves “Arch Angels.”
-His self-titled, “Crush,” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Cons:
-He comes across as young and naive, especially when taking into account his album’s liner notes, which total 3,500 freakin’ words. Will such an earnest guy be able to survive the big, bad music business and…
-He’s been very high-profile since his win. Not only has he performed on Saturday Night Live, he also won ”Best Reality/Variety Star” award at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards and has an endorsement deal with Skechers.
Cons:
-His first single, “Light On,” only debuted at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
-His fanbase doesn’t seem to have a catchy nickname, which probably means they aren’t as rabid as Archuleta’s. [UPDATE: A commenter points out that his fans are called "Word Nerds" because Cook loves crossword puzzles. But still, the victor of an epic battle between Arch Angels and Word Nerds seems obvious, doesn't it?]
Seems to me the Davids are evenly matched. Predicto Mobile users are split as well – 54% predicted that David Cook will sell more albums than David Archuleta in their first week of sales.
