Miss Predicto lives a few blocks away from a movie theater, where there is already a line of people stretched around the block. There’s no doubt a similar phenomenon occurring in your neighborhood. What it’s all about? One word: Twilight.

(Cue the deafening screams of teenage girls everywhere.)

If you don’t know what Twilight is, here’s the skinny: Girl meets boy vampire. Girl loves boy vampire. Boy vampire loves girl, but he’s battling a deep desire to bite the girl. Because he’s a vampire, duh. There’s also a werewolf who digs the girl, and a bad vampire who wants to bite the girl too.

Lots of girls (and their moms) were fans of the Twilight books, so now they are in crazy anticipation for the movie. They are particularly enamored of Robert Pattinson, who plays brooding but hunky vampire Edward Cullen. Pattinson has sparked a mall riot in San Francisco, hasn’t washed his hair in several weeks, and has little girls who want him to bite them. Yikes.

Are he and co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays heroine Bella Swan, ready for the superstardom that await them? Maybe they should ask the guy who plays Harry Potter how he deals with it.

In any case, people are amped for this movie: 70% of the PredictoMobile community voted that Twilight would make more than $70 million at the box office this weekend.
