The Predicto peeps love to predict the outcome of big sporting events like the NBA Finals. And a good indicator of which team will make it to the championships is if they have home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Cleveland Cavaliers happen to be in possession of this important advantage due to having the best record in the NBA. In fact, the team only lost two games at home during the regular season! (The Cavs came close to tying the 1985-86 Boston Celtics’ record of 40-1 but lost their last game by only one point.)
So LeBron James and company must be feeling pretty good about their playoff chances, especially if they can continue their amazing winning streak when playing in Cleveland.
Unfortunately, the PredictoMobile community doesn’t believe they can: 57% predict that the Cavs will NOT win all their home games in the postseason.

Hooray for Hollywood! This week the Idols tackle songs made famous by the movies. Can we just state right now that everything from The Bodyguard soundtrack and all Disney films should be made off limits? Please?
Okay, now on to what the kids should sing this week. There are three types of movie songs: the classics, the overdone, and everything else.
Allison, who does have personality despite what Simon says, might be able to tackle a classic. Her raspy voice gives her an advantage, because any tune she tackles sounds reinvented because of the uniqueness of her vocals. Actually, wouldn’t you love to see her perform “Moon River” just because it is so unexpected?
We bet Lil is DYING to perform one of these songs, because Lil is clueless personified. If even dumb Kara is telling you to change things up a bit and reinvent the wheel, just do it. Lil, all you have to do is sing something low-key, like “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head” and belt it out like its a power ballad. The judges will lap it up, seriously.
There are a bunch of other movie songs it would be fun to see performed on Idol. The eighties were an especially cool time for movie soundtracks. Anoop should try out a Brat Pack classic like “Pretty in Pink” or “Don’t You Forget About Me.” He could experiment with the arrangement and come away with one of the night’s most memorable performances.
So who will be voted off American Idol this week? 36% of the Predicto Mobile community predict Anoop will be sent home, 20% say it will be Allison and 24% say it will be Lil. 20% say it will be someone else who goes home.

Each year, the editors of People magazine decide who are the most beautiful celebrities in all of Tinseltown. There are lots of attractive people in Hollywood, but only a hundred are chosen to be listed as the magazine’s “100 Most Beautiful.”
How they determine this is anyone’s guess. Do you think there’s a mathematical equation to figure out if Brittany Murphy is prettier than Britney Spears?
In any case, the magazine always rewards its Most Beautiful Person by putting him or her on the cover of the issue. Past Beautiful People include superstars Tom Cruise, Jennifer Aniston and Mel Gibson.
Nevertheless, it is still a very coveted honor. So who will be this year’s cover star? We think rising A-lister Zac Efron has a shot.
He’s so young that he hasn’t been caught up in major celeb drama, but he’s also popular enough to be known by his first name only.
Zac’s also been doing a good job of leaving behind his Teen Idol status to be seen as a “real” actor. Like choosing to make movies that do not involve him breaking into song–he even ditched the Footloose remake because he didn’t want to be pigeonholed as a guy who only does musicals.
The guy is working hard at being the next Brad Pitt, but with better eyebrows! Who knows? People Magazine might reward him by giving him the cover. The Predicto Mobile community thinks so: 73% predict that Zac Efron will land the cover of People’s ’100 Most Beautiful’ issue this year.

Has Bret Michaels finally met the love of his life after his third go-round on reality TV?
We hope so–it wouldn’t be pleasant to watch Rock of Love 10and witness an aged rock star continue to make out with nymphets who are at least two decades younger than him. It’s rumored that Bret is ready to propose to one of the lovely ladies on the finale, so which one will he choose?
Mindy. Most were surprised that Bret dropped sweet little Jamie for Mindy. The girl isn’t adventurous at all, which you kinda have to be if you’re going to be with the frontman for a legendary hair metal band.
We can’t really picture her rolling with his insane lifestyle at all. But she’s pretty hot, and at least she doesn’t have penciled in eyebrows, unlike…
Taya. The Celine Dion lookalike seems like she’d be a better fit for Bret, because she has an “anything goes” mentality. However, it could also just mean she’s nuts.
By the way, did you see that crazy dance she did for him on the last episode? Who knew that was called not stripping, but “featured dancing”? Um, okay.
So who will be the last girl standing? 57% of the Predicto Mobile community say that Bret Michaels will choose Mindy.

This week our contestants have to perform songs from the year they were born. What’s interesting about this is that almost everyone will get their own individual list of songs to choose from.
For example, the oldest singer is Danny, who’ll have to choose songs from 1980. Allison, the youngest, will choose songs from 1992. (Um, wow. That makes us feel old.) Three of the guys–Scott, Kris and Matt–were born in 1985, so perhaps they’ll be fighting over the same Phil Collins tune.
As the judges have let us know over and over again, song choice is everything in this competition. The Idol kids who make the most baffling choices are Lil, Anoop and Scott. Will this be the week they wow us with their performances?
We have already asserted that Paula Abdul is the best judge on the show–at least when she keeps her critiques to one sentence. Which is what she did last week, when she told Lil “I don’t want to see an adult-contemporary Lil Rounds.” Hallelujah! We’re also sick of tired of her trying to pretend she’s the next Celine Dion.
We hope that Lil finally embraces the fact that she’s only in her twenties, and performs a song with some spark and sass. Surprise us already!
The problem with Anoop is that he seems intent on surprising us every single week, with mixed results. His cover of Usher’s “Caught Up” was dreadful, and the fact that he didn’t understand that was just plain sad. It’s like he bought into his own “Anoop Dogg” mythology.
We’re starting to think that his semi-finals performance of “My Prerogative” was awesome not because Anoop sang it, but because the song itself is awesome, and not something usually heard on Idol. Let’s hope that Anoop can regain his rhythm and find a musical identity, rather than lurching from one random song choice to another.
What more is there to say about Scott? It’s inevitable he’ll be voted out eventually, but what if he actually makes the Top 5? People, stop voting for him. He’s just not that good, no matter what song he chooses. There’s not much to say beyond that.
So who will be voted off American Idol this week? 41% of the Predicto Mobile community predict Anoop will be sent home, 20% say it will be Scott and 17% say it will be Lil. 22% say it will be someone else who goes home.

If only you had accepted Predicto’s job offer, maybe your life wouldn’t be so insane right now!
Over the weekend, Lindsay announced in garbled Twitter posts that she been dumped by Samantha Ronson, her girlfriend of more than a year. Sam Ronson was so fed up with the starlet’s shenanigans that she’s even had her locks changed to keep Lindsay out of the home they share together.
So what’s next for Miss Lohan? Perhaps she’ll cope with this latest personal drama by going out with a new guy–that’s right, a guy. After all, she’s has plenty of high-profile straight romances, including Aaron Carter, Wilmer Valderrama and Jared Leto.
The Predicto Mobile community predict that there’s a dude in L.Lo’s future: 61% say that Lindsay, newly split from her girlfriend, will start dating a man by June.

What do these uber-famous people have in common? They have all guest starred on the comedy 30 Rock.
Ever since Tina Fey lampooned Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live last year, she and her TV show have become a hot property, especially with celebs. (Never watched it before? It is high-larious. Check it out here.)
But how can you top appearances by a media mogul, an A-list superstar and the former vice president of the United States?
Two words: Michelle Obama.
Lady O is the biggest star on the planet right now. Queen Elizabeth gave her a hug! And Michelle’s awesome arms even have their own blog!
So it makes sense that 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin would issue an invitation to have her on the show. But will she? 60% of the Predicto Mobile community predict that Michelle Obama will accept an offer to guest star on 30 Rock this year.
We’d love to see it. On top of all her other stellar qualities, we bet Michelle Obama would be a darn good actress too!

LC’s had enough! Lauren Conrad is so done with filming her smash hit The Hills. The fifth season debuting next week will be the starlet’s swan song.
One thing that needs to be resolved before she leaves reality TV forever: will she ever be friends again with Heidi?
The two were super close back in the show’s first season, but that was when Heidi was pre-plastic surgery and pre-lobotomy. (Because wouldn’t you need a lobotomy to date Spencer Pratt?)
The trailer for the new season shows the former besties reconciling at LC’s birthday party. But do the tears and hugs mean the long-running feud between the reality stars is finally over?
Not exactly. Don’t forget Spencer’s evil influence on Heidi–no doubt he’ll make his girlfriend/wife/partner in tabloid whoredom choose between him and Lauren.
Heidi has always defended her man, but it looks like this season she wants her friend back more than ever (makes sense, since the trailer shows Spencer either flirting or fighting with strangers).
The Predicto Mobile has faith the girls’ bond will prevail, because 74% predict that The Hills frenemies will rekindle their friendship on the show this season.
