Chastity made headlines nearly 20 years ago when Star magazine outted him, but Chastity publicly and officially came out years later in an issue of The Advocate magazine.
The process will sneak Bono past the recently upheld Prop 8 in California, which bans new marriages for same-sex couples (though those who married in the time frame it was legal retain married status). Basically, Bono will be able to marry his longtime female partner.

Mos Def appeared on The Angie Martinez Show on New York’s Hot 97 FM on Tuesday, where the radio personality asked him about a video posted on YouTube back in March. On the video, Mos Def expressed his desire to go toe-to-toe with some of today’s hip-hop heavyweights, including Jigga, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
Mos Def’s idea for that forum is the New Orleans Superdome, complete with a battle of the bands, breakers and DJs. In the main event of the “Battle of New Orleans,” Jay and Mos Def would each pick their team of four MCs for the back-and-forth. His dream team would be Black Thought, MF Doom, Jay Electronica and Nas.
