Last month, Bernie Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison for orchestrating a Ponzi scheme that robbed billions of dollars from its investors. Gone are many of their hopes and dreams of a luxurious and comfortable retirement, and gone are Madoff’s days as a free man.
He’ll have plenty to think about while he’s locked up, but will he reveal what we’re sure are tortured thoughts of remorse for what he’s done? Predicto asked and 68% of our mobile voting community expects that Madoff will give an interview from prison by 9/20.
“He is too humiliated,” says member “rkkb9127.” Plus, as “vhku8024” adds, “He doesn’t care, he had a good life.” Both members voted now.
“[But] everyone wants to know what he was thinking,” says “tajz1729,” who voted yes. And perhaps the question on everyone’s mind: “ … Who will be the lucky one to ask the questions?” asks “fnzu1438.” Both of these members voted yes.
