You know those popular Now That’s What I Call Music compilations? The ones with all the biggest rock, hip-hop, pop, country and R&B songs from the last few months nicely packaged and consecutively numbered?
Well, Timbaland wants his next album, Shock Value 2, to have the same type of flavor. In order to achieve that sound, he’s inviting his buddies Madonna and Nelly Furtado to come and collaborate, but he’s also extended an invitation to country sweetheart Taylor Swift.
“[She] should stick to country,” says Predicto Mobile community member “mdnf2889,” who continues, “I don’t know if she can handle anything else.”
“She worked with Def Leppard, so I think she will go hip-hop, too,” counters “tphy7234.” Indeed, along with adding rock to her résumé, Swift has already dabbled in the hip-hop arena when she recorded a video that was debuted at the 2009 Country Music Television Awards and featured none other than Auto-Tune aficionado, T-Pain.
Will she continue to expand her sound outside of country’s boundaries by announcing a partnership with Timbaland by 9/30? 88% of voting Predicto members predict she’ll do just that.
“I think she will be on it. She is still young and experimenting,” says “evzw2656.”
That experimentation has gotten her multiple hits on Billboard’s Hot 100. We can only predict how many more she’ll have in the future.
